References to “we”, “us” or “our” and similar terms means Studio Zen Hairdressing.

The term “their” refers to the brands, products of the companies we use.

The term “you” refers to the viewer or client to the salon, it is important that you read these terms and conditions.

This website contains material which is owned by or licensed by us. Unless otherwise stated, images created by the brands or products that we use are protected by trade mark, copyright and their terms and conditions. The brands images are not to be modified, or credited as our own imagery; the images are too credited by the brand to promote and linked to products.

Any copies of pages of the website which you have saved to any storage system are for personal viewing only.

You may not use any of material, images, text, demos or video clips from this website without prior consent and authorised by us.

Whilst we will try to ensure that material included on the Website is correct, reputable and of high quality, we cannot accept responsibility if this is not the case. In particular, we disclaim all liabilities in connection with the following: Incompatibility of the Website with any of your equipment, software or telecommunications links; technical problems including errors or interruptions of the Website;
unsuitability, unreliability or inaccuracy of the Website; and failure of the Website to meet your requirements.

Business     Studio Zen have professional, highly qualified city and guilds level 2 and 3 team that follow health and safety and the manufacture instructions guild lines.

Photography   You may be ask to have photos taken which may appear on the web site, No face will appear unless you are a volunteer for a promotional photo shoot. You do have the right to refuse this.

Price list   We have the right to change the prices at any time, due to rising costs or if with a client require additional time or extra products used for a service. 

Products All products used are for professional use, however we cannot be held responsible if the client’s previous treatments are not compatible.

Cancellations and no shows    you may cancel your appointment at any time however a failure just not to show up can cause inconvenience to other clients, a loss of revenue to the salon and earnings for our hair stylist there for a 50% charge for a missed service charge will be added to your next bill. In the event of continuous no show or repeat late cancellations we have the discretion not to make any further bookings.

We may have to change an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances or problems in the salon that are out of our control.

Staffs have the right to refuse any aggressive member of the public and they will be asked to leave the premise.

Data All personal information will not be passed on to any third party and is protected under the data protection act1998

Fees and Payment You must pay in full at the end of the service no credit is given, due to a change in the service or any additional request the price will be altered by the discretion of the stylist.

Offers and Promotions   Cannot be redeemed for cash or used in conjunction with any other offer and must be used within expire date

ELIGIBLLTY FOR TREAMENT

Skin/patch test   Clients must have a test 48 hours before a colouring service NO TEST NO COLOUR

Strand test Any testing of hair before the date of service and indicates that the service is not achievable or compatible we have the right to refuse to do the service. 

Under 16 years We will not provide a permanent hair alteration service to anyone under the age of 16 years this is the code of practice according to the hairdressing frderation

16 years    We will not provide a permanent hair alteration service unless we have a parents’ consent to do so, this consent must be given during the consultation. However we cannot be held responsible for any changes that the client request after the consent has been given.

Medical Medication, medical treatments and pregnancy may affect the end result so you must disclose any information to your stylist to be discussed and be advised. Any abrasions to the scalp or healing wound will not be able to have a chemical treatment.
